hho and the 1.5 sky active mazda engine

I just purchased a 2016 Scion i A and it is great, @ 46 to 47 average mpg on regular gas with normal driving without the AC on so far. With just 106hp and 2,300lbs it moves along fine. I have looked at the new sky active engine and wonder if it would be compatible with an hho system because of the way it works? Has anyone put an hho system on these new sky active(Mazda)engines yet? With a high compression/gas direct inject set up..?
