my generator isn't working

i was testing my generator with a 12v battery and naoh but my production slowed to almost nothing in under 1 min i have no idea why it wont work or how to fix

Not working properly…

There are possibly a number of causes as to why you are generator is not working.
Number one could be a failed relay if you have such a device
Number two possibly your fuse has failed.
Number three your battery might be well below 13.7 V output, even though it is a 12 V battery.

You need to hook hydrogen generator to the battery with the engine running.
